I hit a patch of black ice on the interstate doing 55mph and hit the steel impact barrier at the end of a center divider. The picture doesn't look so bad but the underside is where all the damage is. It broke the tranny away from the motor and shoved it up into the footwell on the driver's side. Broke the front passenger side wheel. Bent the whole unibody. Shoved the engine towards the driver's side fender. It was ugly. That was the first and last time I ever drove a Z in the snow or potential for snow. Get a beater.
